Anyone who knows me knows that I love my iPhone, but since I got my iPhone 6 Plus I've also started to love taking photos with it. I've always taken shots here and there with my iPhones, but there's something about the new 6 Plus that's got me using it more than I used to. On paper, other than the optical image stabilization, the iPhone 6 Plus is pretty similar to the iPhone 5s I had before, yet I find myself not only taking more photos, but liking more of the shots I take. I'm also taking more video because of the amazing video stabilization on the new iPhone 6 Plus. More on that in future post.
I love stopping off at Starbucks after walking around shooting to look at my images and relax with a Caramel Macchiato.
iPhone, and smartphones in general, tend to fall apart in low light situations. The iPhone 6 Plus still has a lot room for improvement, but it's better than before. I think the optical image stabilization built into the 6 Plus gives it an edge here since it allows you to shoot a much slower shutter speeds, and keep the ISO lower for less noise. Notice the shutter speed in this shot at Four Seasons.
Don't miss part 2 where we'll head to a local festival, and then to the beach. Thanks for visiting today. Hope everyone has a great day.
