Rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7 have been pointing to possible use of dual camera technology. Dual Cameras basically means having one wide angle lens and one telephoto lens that when combined can reportedly offer better image quality, in addition to multiple focal lengths. This video from CNET shows what the fuss is all about and why we should care.
Photo of the Day - View of Nago
This past weekend my family and I drove up north to view cherry blossoms in Nago. We drove to the top of Nago Central Park where they have a great viewing spot. I took this with my iPhone 6s Plus using one of my favorite camera apps, 645 Pro and edited it in Adobe Lightroom Mobile.

Surfing and The iPhone Cinematographer
Photographer and cinematographer Sven Dreesbach recently worked on two surf video projects that show the possibilities of mobile cinematography. Sven created one, "Dark Waves" for a music video project for Robot Koch , and the other, "This Moment" as a pretty cool slo-mo video. Both were shot on an iPhone 6.

Awesome Skiing Video Shot on an iPhone 6
I've seen a lot of amazing photos and videos shot with iPhones. Swiss Professional Skier Nicolas Vulgnier however, recently shot a 360 degree video of himself skiing with his iPhone that simply blew me away. I'm still trying to figure out how someone can spin their iPhone around their head, connected to a string while they are skiing down a mountain. I'm not blessed with any degree of coordination, so even skiing down the mountain would be an accomplishment for me, so the idea of spinning my iPhone around me at the same time is simply crazy to me. Photo of the Day - Close Quarters
Okinawa is a small island, only about 70 miles long, and so space is always at a premium. I'm always impressed with how space, no matter how small is used to it's maximum potential. I took this photo this weekend, on one of the rare nice days we've had recently. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the small road to the right is only about 8-10 feet wide and ascends to what feels like an almost 90 degree angle upwards until it meets with the road pictured on the left. In the mindle are several houses, a 10 story apartment building, and a park with a walking path, a pond and a climbing/ play area for children. All of this in an area smaller the size of an American football field.
Photo of the Day - American Village
