As I prepare to post my review, I thought I would share a couple photos. I love how my original TCL-x100 Teleconverter looks on my new x100F. I had originally purchased it with my black x100S, but I think I actually like this look better. I’ve now owned every x100 and the love affair just keeps growing with this camera.
This past July my daughter and I decided on a whim to take a trip to Tokyo for a few days. She was out of school for the summer and it was perfect for some quality father daughter time. It’s been two years since our last trip. Scary how fast time goes by. On my last trip to Tokyo I had just bought the x100T and was testing it out.

Living on a tropical island, sunsets are taken for granted. We all notice them, but seldom take the time to stop and enjoy them. The other day I decided I was due for a little sunset therapy, so I drove over to Araha Beach in Chatan. Even though, as always my trusty Fuji x100s was in my bag, I reached for my iPhone 6 Plus. Sometimes it's just more fun to challenge myself and use my iPhone.
We should all take time to stop and enjoy moments like these. All too often we take for granted the beauty around us. They say "the best things in life are free". Scenes such as this must surely be one of them.
In Part 2 of shooting with the iPhone 6 Plus we head to a local festival to try a few action shots, then to the beach, and finally a night shot and sunset. For this first shot I got in close to make the dinasour fill the frame, and to give it that larger than life look. The cool cloud formations created leading lines right to the subject, and I thought the couple in the lower right also added to the image.
I haven't shot too many sunsets of late, but fortunately the weather cooperated today as I sat on Araha Beach in Chatan enjoying the last sunset of 2014. As is common for me, I preferred to photograph other people enjoying the sunset rather than just the sunset alone. :) Thank you all who have taken time to visit my site, and comment on my work.
